Reply to What actor had the greatest opening one-two punch debut in film history? by bolshevik_rattlehead
Julie Andrews came very close with Mary Poppins and Sound of Music. Although she might not fit the post because those were her 1st and 3rd major films roles, plus she was already established in Broadway

Yeah, Lightyear had no reason to exist when Star Command (both movie and show) did a phenomenal job of giving us a Buzz standalone spinoff

A failure is a failure is a failure. Since Disney isn't registered as a non-profit charity organization, anything that loses them money isn't seen as a success

The movie lost Disney ~$200m. How is that not considered a failure?

Sony hasn't been at E3 in a few years. I'm surprised Nintendo and MS took this long to stop showing up also. You pay extra money and abide by the expo's timeline and rules, only for people to mercilessly bitch about your showcase year after year. Sony's State of Play pretty much makes sense because you can control the costs, release on your own time, and when people mercilessly bitch yet again about your showcase, at least you can go to sleep knowing this was on your terms and with money saved

Going back to a time when casual nudity was a thing in PG movies, before the PG-13 rating completely watered down anything outside of R

"Michael Dorn, who famously played Lt. Commander Worf in the Star Trek series, turns out to not be a Klingon in real life, as he is a human born in Texas. This is offensive that real Klingons did not and do not have proper representation in the Star Trek series, as every Klingon has been played by a human actor"
