That's the thing though... companies can offer lifetime warranty when their stuff is high quality.
If it's just a 1 year, that means they can reduce the quality and not be inundated with claims... anytime a company reduces a Warranty I get scared that they're cutting production costs. But they always keep prices high because their brand reputation is still high. They then rake in profits till we learn our lesson

Word of mouth amd people repeating things they've heard so they sound smart, even of they personally don't know what they're talking about.
This is why every high quality company goes to shit. They can cust costs dramatically and keep prices high and it takes years for the names reputation to tank. The CEO gets to claim boosted profits and bail out in theor golden parachute before it crashes

We stopped watching a few episodes later. 1) we knew it turned into a shitshow at the end, 2) we realized Jon Snow was the only interesting storyline going on at the time.
