I was surprised that new Britain's data was statistically "safer" on the same site.. and even Hartford in some ways. Bizarre.

I thought westfarms was named westfarms because it was half in West Hartford and half in Farmington

I get all that I just don't know how it could be artificially inflated all the way down to the bottom 1% seems like some kind of error

That's what I was thinking. The places I have viewed were only 10 minutes from my Hartford residence. Not sure if that area is worse or better (near NHS) than the turnpike or college areas. I had my catalytic converter stolen at JNI automotive which is just a few minutes from the Newington town line. Also had a window broken just to have a Halloween skeleton taken. I've purposely bought shitboxes the past 15 years to try to prevent big losses while living in Hartford.

Yeah zero contracts. I've never been to a mechanic that writes anything up before work. They tell you what they need to do, do it and you pay them. Course I don't go to any fancy dealers or anything I drive cars that aren't worth high end repairs... Sadly

The sad part is a window was smashed to loot the inside. I went and bought a new window piece and gave it to him. Over a month went by and he didn't fix it and then boom, cat gone too. I brought it there to have the computer replaced only since it wasn't starting up every time. Now there's 3 things fucked with it.

Yikes. It's a 2001. Guess it can sit for a few more years.

The mechanic offered to replace the empty space with a straight pipe. The price difference would probably be huge

Mine was cut out in the parking lot of a mechanic on the west Hartford/ Hartford line. Luckily it was just my older car I was planning on selling but still. Sucks. There's gotta be a solution to this epidemic. I don't want to buy anything nice because I'm afraid it's going to be destroyed

Try somewhere else or roll the dice and wait. People call it a bubble but it doesn't necessarily mean prices will drop.

After watching countless sonic commercials on adult swim as a youth I was so excited to see them come to CT. When I pulled up to one and realized I couldn't walk in and order I just left. Such a weird concept and I had two kids under 5 at the time, I wasn't about to try to feed them in the car.
