Hiking shoe soles are generally not great for durability in walking on concrete.

Reply to Hospital fee to see a dermatologist at John's Hopkins Outpatient facility? by HombreDeCamote
Facility fee is a separate ‘benefit’ in your insurance in addition to the Specialist Visit benefit for seeing the doc. It is sometimes referred to as a ‘clinic visit’ for Hopkins. It could be an additional copay or coinsurance. Call the doctors office and ask them for the cpt codes for both the dr and the facility, then call your insurance company and ask how they cover it.

Its probably based on metropolitan area. Baltimore suburbs are expensive, baltimore city is not. But the taxes get you.

Reply to comment by BilgeWalker in Will Baltimore Ever Be As Great As Cleveland? by BilgeWalker
Baltimore is a city of row homes. There are really only detached homes far from downtown. Those areas tend to have less ‘amenities’ like rail transit, and the ones that do are more expensive. Public transportation in most places will be bus-centric.

Reply to comment by DONNIENARC0 in How real are the red light and speed trap cameras all over town? by DvrthKen
True. Its not worth it and rarely overturned anyway as I recall. Unless there is an emergency vehicle behind you, you are fucked (pretty much). Also note someone else could he driving your car, and you are still fucked. Its tied to your registration, not the driver.
someguyontheintrnet t1_j6y7kld wrote
The cameras are very real. And you cannot really appeal the ticket that is sent to the address on your registration. Stop at red lights and stay within 10mph of the speed limit and you’ll be fine.

Reply to comment by igorek_brrro in BMW M leather jacket 40+ years old. I inherited it from my stepfather 20 years ago and wore it every year since then, like across fall & winter time. The zip is now broken, the color faded away but still - by far - my favorite jacket. by k7v1n
Leather conditioner will go a loooong way in keeping the leather supple, avoiding cracks, and generally extending the life of the leather. Polish with help maintain the appearance (color) and add protection from water, etc.

Do you account for increased searches over all? People used to use Yahoo and other search engines, and have less access to the internet than they do now. Maybe a moving average would help account for that?

That, and the water front parking lots. Nothing exemplifies high-value waterfront like parked cars.

A buddy of mine wrks for the National Aquarium and he said its against the rules (forget who’s rules) for zoos and aquariums to feed their dead animals to other animals, or raise animals to be fed to other animals. It creates a potential conflict of interest.
