no it doesn't it has paid for ads at the top results and you have to search for the things you actually want. Top post in this sub right now with 60k upvotes

not because its needed though, other search engines exist and do fine. People use google because its the most recognizable at this point.

I have never had a problem with the search. Haven't had to use google in years outside of the map services it offers.

who cares we don't need google anymore, its become so full of ads that its the modern day yahoo of search engines. Duckduckgo is way better and the first page of results isn't all people who paid to be there. Honestly it be better for the overall internet if they went. More room for people to start up new websites, people who arn't already huge corporate sellouts who collect everyones data and sell it.
