He did Hobbes and Shaw, Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blond( best of those)…all kind of hit and miss I’d say, nothing bad at all but none of those have the highs of the Wick series.

4 had some amazing visuals, I’m really curious to see what Stahelski does after the Wick movies! Visually I think he’s the superior director of he and Leitch. No shade at Leitch, he cashed out and started working in IP franchises and probably has made a nice chunk of change but none of his movies reach the heights of the Wicks when they are firing on all cylinders.

I’m feeling the same for Poker Face, perfectly enjoyable show but the hyperbole surrounding it when it’s just doing an old network style show is kinda wild.

Same…was a great, well acted/directed episode of TV, but to me it felt like an episode of Station Eleven( not a bad thing, loved that show) which is only a couple years old at this point. I appreciated the arc of Bill and Frank but we met and lost those characters in one episode, doesn’t quite have the emotional impact of spending seasons with characters.

Rian Johnson has a new week to week Columbo’esque show coming to Peacock next month. I forget the title but Natasha Lyonne is the lead which is pretty outstanding.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 is one I dig, especially the Electro stuff , Zimmer is going with some dub steppy/ industrial stuff and I liked it.

I’m glad she’s getting some Marvel money now but I think she’s somehow so talented no know one has known what to do with her based on how she’s not a massive star…or maybe she’s a chill Canadian who doesn’t want that life lol.

He’s WILDLY underrated as a chameleon actor….Doc Brown, Uncle Fester, Judge Doom, Rev Jim, Professor Plum are all so different and all so memorable.

Pumpkinhead….goes to show how talented Stan Winston was, he designed that, Alien Queen, Predator, T-800, Jurassic Park T-Rex and countless other , lesser known monsters!

Shin Godzilla was a genuinely freaky looking design for that movie, really nightmarish.

Yea for sure, the first 3 seasons are fun, it’s very broad, lots of action and Soap opera drama, very watchable.

It scratches the same itch as Sons of Anarchy, entertaining but really stupid sometimes. Season 4 dropped off a cliff I thought, half the content was back door pilots for other shows.

DP2 was very fun, Bullet Train was a let down for me, I wanted to love it but only found it “meh”.
