My experiences with being high - your brain starts f-ing up, your short term memory goes out the window, you get a vague sense that complex things have happened, or that you've experienced epic narratives that you can't remember between one moment and the next, time becomes slightly distorted, the line between real life sounds and sounds that you hear in your head become fuzzy.
Basically, If your perception of the world around you is strange and different then usual, then you are high, your brain is functioning differently than normal.
