I love my electric mower! I’ve had a 60v Black and Decker for 6 years. It quieter and lighter than a gas mower (useful because my yard is hilly) and is super low maintenance. I just need to sharpen the blade.
B&D doesn’t make the batteries for this mower anymore , so I’ll probably have to replace the whole thing once these batteries die. Lack of support after just a couple of years on being able to get new batteries and battery chargers is a definite con for electric lawn equipment, and may make them more wasteful in some ways than gas equipment. My yard isn’t huge, but the grass is thick and grows quickly. I need 2-3 batteries to cut the back and front (and sometimes that isn’t enough and I have to wait for batteries to recharge). I believe the newer models have more efficient batteries.

Right?!? We love them so much we stayed with them even after we moved to the ‘burbs. It’s worth the drive in.

All of the docs in this practice are great.

Tomorrow is “messy day” at the science center. Always a great (messy!) time with the kids. I used to play “which parent in here is the most hungover?”

This is true, but I also live paycheck to paycheck with the new inflation. I used to live under our means and save for emergency, but that’s not possible any more.

We’ve been told it’s a done deal and there’s absolutely nothing we can do. Covid delayed it a bit, but the wheels have already started turning.

The first leg of the extension will be built less than a block away from my neighborhood. I’m so angry about it. I don’t want to abandon my neighborhood, and I can’t afford to live in the city, but I can’t see that this will do anything bus destroy my home’s value.

We had a great day, but then my partner and one of our kids tested positive for Covid. (So far, the other kids and I are negative.) We managed to avoid it up til now. Sigh…

If you have pets or house plants that need warmth, I’d go 65. If not, maybe 60?

Same thing happened to me. I contested the ticket using the process outlined on the ticket and sent in screenshots of my parking receipt from the app, the emails I got saying I paid for parking and the texts I got sayin my parking session had started (I. Was. So. Mad.). The ticket got thrown out, so if you follow the process to contest the ticket you’ll be fine.
Edited for typos

Good to know! I was vaguely looking at that and the eGo mower (while hoping this mower will last another season). The eGo is self propelled, which I don’t want? I don’t want to get dragged down the hill.
