I used a line graph since I ordered the movies in chronological order, so over time it shows that A24 movies were bringing in less and less box office success

I used “porn” because I only counted books that contained detailed penetrative sex scenes in them. I would’ve put “erotic” or “erotica” but I fet that the word “porn” was more accessible to all people and would make the data I wanted to show more widely understood. As for book banning, I’d say books with contentious ideology/ theme are what gets them banned, no? Books with erotic sex scenes are just given age restrictions which is why you definitely wouldn’t see them in most school libraries, but books with queer representation, focus on racism, and slurs etc are what gets books banned from the system completely.
