I was born in Jamaica, and have been back several times to visit family.

A lot of people don't know that Jamaica has tons of plants not native to the island due to it having a tropical biome closest to the UK. As a result, you can find plants there that would be located on the other side of the planet.

Breadfruit is a common delicacy in Jamaica. Usually is eaten for breakfast and fried. It has an almost potato like quality to it.

Ok we can say that about him and not vote for him.

But we eventually have to realize these are good ideas and they could help reform our incredibly broken system. It shouldn't be just him proposing it. None of our elected officials are pushing this. And part of the problem is we citizens have gotten used to things being broken.

Andrew Yang shouldn't be the only one seeing issues with the electoral system and trying to fix it. That's the problem. His Forward party puts pressure on our current candidates to consider this stuff or be primaried. Hopefully some of them start shifting.

I like a lot of what Andrew Yang is proposing. We as citizens need to consider options like ranked choice voting and possibly things like a mixed member district to help reform our incredibly flawed political system.

Even if you don't like the man, consider the ideas and try to propose them to our current representatives. We shouldn't live in a democracy where bribery is legalized in the form of donations, lobbyists have more influence than average citizens, and politicians pass bills and laws to help corporations, not your neighbors. It doesn't have to be two choices, and our current system can be reformed from the bottom up.

Big no on this one. Most of the loanwords are used for academic or industrial reasons, not for common conversation. They also have equivalent English words that get the point across better. English still is a Germanic language in every aspect and Latin is a huge curve.
