I really like the idea behind this, but it seems like a gigantic waste of money

Who the fuck named it Courageous? How the hell is that adjective relevant for fighting misinformation?

It's just virtual training online? No one is going to watch it.

It needs to be incorporated into schooling, although that's an impossible ask with the current state of schooling in this country.

The issue is that not every at-risk-youth plays sports.

Those most at risk are usually on some kind of academic probation and aren't eligible to play.

Or they lack the financial resources for travel, training, equipment, rides home, etc.

Mandating physical activity for all students is a better solution as a whole - focusing money on specific athletic teams or events still leaves people behind.

I've lived in Colorado, Texas, and upstate NY - I've never used exit numbers unless it was a road trip.

I don't understand why locals would complain about exit numbers. There are people out there who really memorized "I take exit 6" and if they don't they'll miss their turn?

OP literally stated their own definition and it's all about state intervention in the economy.

Seeing as housing is one of the largest sectors of the economy and personal wealth, I would say it's a huge economic intervention to provide cheaper housing.

Liberals not wanting to provide that much housing is for the reasons you stated - they don't want to interfere. They only give a shit about the appearance of social liberalism, they don't actually want to change people's material conditions.
