I retired BECAUSE it was getting too scary on 84 every morning, and every evening. People drive crazy now. 30 years ago, people drove in their lane until their exit came, and then they got off the highway. Now, people drive like it's a pinball machine, and they're they only car on the road. weaving from right lane to left lane through the middle lane, far too many times as I was in the middle lane 2 cars passing me on both sides only to try to both be in front of me in the middle lane at the same time, only for one of them to veer off just before the collision right in front of me.... I finally said fuck it. My life is worth more than this. I've been wishing for these ticketing cameras for a few years now. Don't give a damn if the driver owns the car or not. If he/she's driving the car, fine. you get a ticket. If you don't own the car but let someone else drive it, fine. You won't do that again.

Nah, they don't bother to pull people over specifically for not having a front plate. but it IS something extra they'll tack on when you get pulled over for speeding, dui, etc. Son got pulled over for speeding, they tacked on for a frame around the back plate put on by the dealer where I bought the car. Those are illegal, too.

I haven't had a front plate in 10 years. Husband hasn't had one on since we bought his car 3 years ago.

THank you for understanding. Onion allergy is awful, little known about unless you are one of us. one of us. one of us.

I have thought about Chinese caterers, but was hoping a restaurant would be faster, less expensive. Caterer would be last choice.

I'm sorry. I haven't had luck with anything on reddit. I always here "go to reddit, ask there, they're the BEST people to ask for help for anything, you'll always get an answer.".

Well, I never get an answer.

I usually get mocked. And end up deleting my questions. Not always, but enough, because I don't need to be trashed so often. I've made dumplings, but it gets so damned tiring to always have to 'make' what other people can just go into a fucking restaurant and just fucking order, and eat. Onions and the family are in EVERY FUCKING THING. In the coating on fucking french fries. In the spaghetti sauce in the lasagna. In the spice they sprinkle on every freaking Nardelli sub. I can't eat at any place without making a special order. and you know? It gets tiring after a while. like, peanuts? fine. Keep out of Thai restaurant. You can't do that with an allium allergy. Just once I'd love to order in a restaurant, and not have to ask the waiter 'Does it have onions in it?" and he has to say, let me check. And then I have to say, if it does, can I have that instead?

I'm sorry. I don't mean to unload. It just came out. .You get whatever gold or whatever I can do. I have no idea. Sorry.

I have made many. MANY many many.

This wasn't my question. I know how to make them. I also know how to change the oil in my car, the brakes, and I know how to insulate my attic.

That's not what I asked.

Thanks for the downvote.

We're all up on our wills, etc. It was actually a fun experience, our lawyer made it a smooth experience, and it was a good feeling to get it taken care of.
I just want to say if anyone is hesitating, don't. Get it done.

My dad is 94, put everything in a trust about 12 years ago. I'm so glad he did. Five daughters, all of us would have to sign off on his selling his house, and three of us won't. Two sisters want him to sell and move him to the middle of Buttfuck, Nowhere, PA. Nearest hospital ~ 4 hours away. One of them almost had the house 'sold' to a neighbor's brother in law until I heard about it, and informed them that the house was in a trust and wouldn't be sold any time soon. They thanked me. People, take care of your paperwork. It's important to the ones you love.

I gave you an up vote. But then reminded it when you went on to say ppl constantly complaining about the taxes. No. We aren’t. I don’t mind one red cent of the taxes I pay, I know I have a very high quality of life in this state, and that isn’t free.

My husband is a Hartford school teacher. They don't pay into a short term disability program, so they aren't entitled to disability pay. If she wants to contact Carol Gale, the union president, she can, but it won't go anywhere. If your friend wanted to, she could buy short term disability ins. on her own from any insurance company on her own, long term disability, life insurance, it's like any other ins. policy. But it's not covered in their union contract.

edit: It's another reason AFLAC is purchased by people.
