Shaw from Person of Interest.

Her psychopathy kind of came and went as the story demanded it, but I was particularly fond of the flashback to her time as a surgeon, where she's reprimanded for eating a snack and emotionlessly telling a family their relative died on the operating table. At the end it's revealed she actually worked desperately hard to save their life.

Or the girlfriend with an edgy ghost twin sister who physically manifests herself

Or the guy possessed by an angel who turns his wife into salt

Or John Glover being haunted into suicide after they close the case

Or the dolls who make bad things happen unless you...pay them?

Or the dad making a pact to give his life for that of his daughter

All of which have no resolution whatsoever. I could go on.

I think about this show often, mostly because it gave us Sebastian Stan.

A couple highlights from the article:

-One of the NBC presidents having virtually no recollection or interest in the show.

-The showrunner learning to never compromise from Bryan Fuller. Because Fuller's methods always make for such smooth productions.

-NBC reusing some of the shows abandoned marketing concepts for... The Cape. Fucking lmao.

I haven't watched the new season yet, but looking at the cast, I thought it was high key brilliant that they cast a non-binary actor to play both twins. I'm really hoping they're don't forget their inexplicable Japanese origin. That was the best part of Seed.
