Echoing another comment that not only should this lot be denied, but 36th should become 1 way.

Wish UA would sell off some of their surface parking lots first.

Also it’s important to note that all trains running through the new tunnel are required to be electrified. No diesel engines will be allowed in the new tunnel.

I’ve biked and scootered along this street many times and have felt threatened for my life by cars countless times. When are we going to protect vulnerable road users instead of catering to single occupancy automobile users?

It’s almost as if the Baltimore Sun has become a joke of a publication…

Excellent news for everyone. Yes, even automobile users and business owners will benefit from this Complete Street (except for maybe SH Landsman and Sons scrap yard, who shouldn’t even be on Central Ave to begin with).

Harbor quality is leagues better than it used to be. It’s actually swimmable about 70% of the time. Just avoid it after rainfall.

Reply to Blight seems to be reducing around Center Street light rail station? by Cheomesh
There’s a lot of activity finally happening in that area you mentioned. There are many projects that have been in the works for years, with some big ones finally commencing - those include the old Greyhound station becoming a Squash center, the Mayfair theatre facade being saved and incorporated into new apartments and office space, and 600 N Howard is turning into apartments as well.
Glad it’s finally starting to be noticeable to those not in the development loop!
