Well, this one may have some potential, but like many newly discovered incoming comets, it may end up being another dud or burn up when it gets closer to the sun.

They can barely move a few hundred meters a day in Donbass...
unless Ukraine leaves that entire strip entirely undefended, they aren't going to do much better up there.

If they wanted to push towards Transnistria, they wouldn't have retreated from their one bridgehead on the west bank of the Dnieper.

Interestingly enough the US nearly "lost" the location of the battlefield that won it's independence from Britain when people wanted to build golf resorts over it.

They have mixed economies as they've realized they can take the good parts of some socialist theories like a strong social safety net, empowering strong unions, and regulating commerce and industry to safeguard against the worst of unrestricted/ unregulated capitalism to protect their people and environment while allowing for much of the free market to exist as long as the rules and regulations are followed.
