Do you mean black holes formed from stars? I think conventional wisdom conveys that just about all of them form when stars or a certain size can no longer maintain their homeostasis.

I know you're just being difficult but I truly believe I can help you. Look at this list of populous countries and tell me which ones could possibly have 84 million FAMILIES and primarily speaks English.
Hint: number 8 and higher wouldn't make the cut even if every single family was only two people.

The bigger clue is the number of families. ;)

It's in english and it says there are 84 million families. Not guaranteed to be US national statistics but it would be a stellar guess.

Reply to Eli5 - tax write off by Spicyriblet
Well students can, write off expenses, but any tax software you use will rightfully swap that for the standard deduction. I don't know what it is this year but it usually exceeds whatever tax deductions you can claim as a student.
Really savvy business owners or other entrepreneurs can report expenses in a way that exceeds the standard deduction and lowers their tax liability. Things like business expenses and the interest on mortgage loans are big chunks of what people claim for "itemized deductions". If the total of itemized deductions exceed the standard deduction, it lowers the amount of your income that can be taxed at all. The lower taxable income decreases your tax liability. The lower tax liability means you get a bigger refund if you've reported standard withholdings when your turn in your form W-4 to your employer.

Reply to Eli5 if a phone number is 7 digits then how aren't there more people with the same number? by FrozenKyrie
Simple. People can(and do) have the same number [prefix and suffix] with different area codes.

It's not just dry thin dust. After 4 years, it becomes grimy and baked in. Picture a windshield in a snowy area. How the grime gets too thick for dry wiping and you have to use wiper fluid.

For the employers that insist on abiding my the law, there are different arrangements that they could use to avoid paying for safety PPE. it's very possible that there could just be a basket of vests that employees grab one and put on for work. OP telling people to keep the vests across the board and give to their homeless friends is very easily misinterpreted. Could get some people with few resources into very serious trouble.

Take it easy robin hood. Not everyone pays for the vest and keeping it is theft.
