Loved the Going Dark series. I wasn’t ready to leave the Silo behind, so I was incredibly happy when I discovered this series.

If you love the series to the end, I recommend the spin off series written by Ann Christy. The first book is Going Dark, which I highly recommend. The series was endorsed by Hugh Howey.

I also give 100. I have ended up enjoying many books which I would have otherwise discarded.

I can’t remember the Kreb’s cycle despite needing to memorise it many times during my degree. I don’t use it everyday so I’ve forgotten it but if I look up the Kreb’s cycle I’ll remember it again just from the visual cue.

If I’m browsing a bookstore or alike, the cover is huge for me. I rarely look at title names, rather the cover and colours. If a cover strikes my interest, I’ll read the back and very rarely the first page. I often confirm my feelings on the book by a quick goodreads check to view the star rating and see whether any of my friends have rated the book.
I also use goodreads a lot to create a list of To-Read which includes real-life recommendations and those I come across on goodreads.

I’m typically a hard-copy book reader as well, however I do also tend to have a few audiobooks going for when I run out of podcasts and I’m doing tasks such as gardening, cleaning, or going on a long drive. I regrettably purchased this book following a recommendation without sampling the audio.
I’ll try and find the subreddit, thanks.

It’s such a shame the audible narration is absolutely terrible! I have heard such good things about this book but I can’t stand the narration.

You’re most welcome! I recommend the series whenever the Wool series comes up.
