So I'm not gonna need to upgrade anytime soon? Aww man how am I gonna justify my GAS? /s

Truthfully though, the first time I experienced my 400se it's just too magical. I live in rural area and the way I can try a different set of headphones is to buy one, online. At this point I'm afraid to purchase anything else as a sidegrade, while upgrading might means that I need to spend 10x of the 400se.

Usually youtube music to stream the album first, as I can avoid the ads with [that adblocker], if I like them I'll try to find the album on Bandcamp. I'm willing to purchase the copy if it meant the artist will get the share, but yt premium to avoid the ads.. yea no.

Though if there's no copy of the album on Bandcamp I have to stick with YT music in the end as they have such a large library.

I wonder low loud op is listening that the sound bleed can be heard by the roommate. I live in a dorm with another guy, separated by 1.5 meters between our beds with no wall between us, apart from 2 monitors I use on the table beside my bed. I asked him if he'd ever heard something from my headphones, he said no, and I tested it myself, I also couldn't hear it. That's why I have the 2nd pair of open back afterwards.

I wouldn't say it's tiring. I do find it a bit bassy, punchy, which I like. Headphones/iems that make me "tired" is those that has piercing trebles, which I don't find in the M50x. But I'm not that comfortable using my M50x anymore lately, especially for home use because I'm too used to open backs, the closed back and tuning of the M50x make me a bit claustrophobic, somehow. As for details in the sound, it does have a good instrument separation. Sometimes it can be exhausting listening to many things at once I agree, but I'm already used to it I guess.

My collection is in the flair + Samson SR850 and 7Hz Salnotes Zero. If I could keep one headphones & one iem, it'd be.. HE400se and XM4, I guess. I like the Zero, but where I work & commute, the seal on the Zero just doesn't cut it.

No, he only ever mentioned (tested?) the HD 206 (which he hates), HD 280 Pro, HD 58X, and HD 600. Either OP forgot it's supposed to be the 280 or just went on his way.

Yeah, should just sell the 3 that isn't the AirPods Pro and get the HD 58X instead.

Nah, it's always "the 60 is good, but if you can, save up a bit for the the 80" or "the 325 is brilliant, but you will get 90% of the sound, but 1/4 the price from the 60"

Bought used 60e as the first step into open backs, loved it. Accidentally knocked it to the ground from my desk, right driver is a bit off. Bought a used 80e (which I got for cheaper than the 60e!) as the replacement. But then a friend abled to fixed the 60e, so I gave it to my gf. Absolute banger to watch movies or series together.
