Even if they come up with something comparable, you can't sell spots at the top of an indexed results page if there is no indexed results page.

Reply to No one watches the news anymore because they never provide any solutions to the problem reported and only exist to infuriate you for clicks and likes. by Inaerius
It's the new business model for journalism. If you don't pay for news with a subscription, the only way they can survive is by relying on advertisers, and advertisers just want to see high click rates.
If you don't pay for news, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Pubic lice live exclusively in human pubic hair. They're a totally different species from head lice.

Look at non-stop flights from Tokyo to Chicago (I've taken this flight a few times). Note the local departure and arrival times. The plane arrives in Chicago before it leaves Tokyo.

Reply to TIL dunce caps were originally a sign of high intelligence and wisdom. Philosopher and theologian John Duns Scotus was a proponent of pointy hats as a way to funnel knowledge to the mind and his followers, called Dunsmen, wore them. By the 1500s the Dunsmen fell out of favor as “behind the times”. by Aequitas05
But the funnel is going up and away from the head. Shouldn't it go the other way?
