You’ll need coffee — the Patriots Day Battle Green reenactment happens at 5:30am! 😳 https://www.lexingtonma.gov/1558/2023-Schedule-of-Events

Google ‘Salem Halloween crowds’. It’s…bad. All month long. And getting worse.

Reply to Burning a small pile of letters/ photos by DaisyDino53
Modern photos are essentially plastic & chemicals, so burning them isn’t great — be careful not to breathe in fumes, I’d also be leery of cooking food in/on a barbecue that you’d burned photos in unless you clean it really well.
You’re probably looking for the catharsis of burning these, but I had a bunch of cringey stuff that I wanted to get rid of and I found that feeding it page by page into a shredder was nearly as satisfying as burning it, and way less messy. Just a thought!

If you have the budget for it and you’re interested in minimizing your commute , you should definitely consider Brookline! It’s leafy, directly on the T, but with tons of parks. It has a very walkable, charming downtown (Coolidge Corner) and it’s pretty family-friendly. And you can potentially make your commute a nice walk! Just throwing it out there.

There’s a leucistic sparrow who lives in my neighborhood — I love seeing it! I bet that’s what you’re seeing, a leucistic bird of some sort.
