I had a similar issue recently. Our kitchen only had tile behind the stove and the sink. When we started our remodel it was impossible to get it off without destroying the Sheetrock so we decided to just cut around the tile with an oscillating tool and replace the Sheetrock sections.

The problem starts on set. There’s tons of articles from sound mixers complaining that what they are given is terrible and they are tasked with trying to make it better while the studios don’t want to pay to have the star come in and dub their lines with a clearer take.

Never heard of it on whatever side of the internet I’m on. The 3 shows I keep coming across are lots of praise for The Last of Us (rightfully so) and The Sandman and lots of negative takes on Velma.

When the episode was over I felt like I had lived the entirety of their relationship with them. They felt like old friends I was watching wither away. I honestly wish the episode would have ended with them walking to the bedroom and pick up with Joel and Ellie next week.

Reply to What do you think the issue with modern sitcoms is? (Discussion) by Paula-Abdul-Jabbar
It’s a different time thanks to Streaming and the ability to watch tv at any time from anywhere. People are consuming media at alarming rates while demanding more. Networks are furiously trying to churn out whatever they can in an effort to draw more eyes to their platform and hope each show finds an audience. If it doesn’t find one quickly, they cut it and move on. Slow growing shows like Seinfeld and The Office would never have a chance to mature and find an audience in todays market.
