One evening about ~10 years ago, I met a girl in University City, and we were going back to my place in Fairmount. I was biking at the time, so I got her a cab to my place. The cab driver took her on a long, unknown route. I got to my house first on my bike and waited 20 mins for her to arrive. She called me crying, and I yelled at the driver why it's taking so long and gave him my address again. When she arrived, I berated the driver and then refused payment that was over $60.
I'm not surprised about sketchy daycare centers in the city. My neighbor's deceased mom previously owned a non-profit daycare, and now his drug/heroin addict son runs the place. On top of that, the house mortgage has not been paid since her passing at the very beginning of the pandemic.
This is such BS. If there's no treadwear, (edit) and not rubbing the body/frame, it should pass. You're probably getting better gas mileage with that size too. Looks like they're trying to sell you new tires, the shop can resell your current used tires, if you disposed with them.
They're are plenty of folks with aftermarket rims/tires and pass inspection without having to revert their wheels to stock.
I can recommend you a place that does a good inspection, and done in ~30 mins. Just send me a DM.
