I’d take six years of him in the hospital over one day of Doctor Oz.
I’m glad he’s getting the help he needs. The Senate doesn’t have much to do as long as the house is deadlocked, so he’s got all the time he needs to get better.

By passing legislation that does so. I don't know the exact wording or mechanics, but there's a lot of things that companies "wouldn't do" unless they were forced.
We still have a vast majority of people in this state and country who don't have sick time. My partner is currently sick with Covid and can't take off work without being written up. It's a dystopia.

Don’t think of it as “hours not worked,” think of it as fair compensation for enough work.
The 40 hour work week was designed so one person could support a family while the wife (historically speaking) stayed home and kept the house and kids.
Now, typically both partners are working 30-40 hours a week. It’s time we the people took back the lifestyles the American dream was promised and stop working ourselves to death

By having the law say they have to.
Just like how they have to pay overtime.

The medical field shouldn’t care about profits.
We live in a dystopia

As an anti-religion person, if religions would stick to helping people it would be wonderful.
Instead, many, especially evangelicals, are trying to push their hateful beliefs down our throats.

They don’t need to raise the prices, they just need to cut their profits a bit. They made over 20 billion in profits (not revenue, but profit) in 2021. It wouldn’t cost much of that to raise wages.

If they close all the stores, the company will cease to exist. The workers generate the wealth, they should be the ones receiving the rewards.

That’s fair.
All of the talks of election fraud always seemed a bit odd to me. My local polling place for 2010 to 2020 has a couple older ladies who basically just ask your name and check a box… there’s never been an ID check or anything, so I never got why fraud would suddenly be an issue in 2020.

You misunderstood me. I’m arguing against signature matching to disqualify ballots. I’m extremely in favor of mail-in, and think it should be universal as it is our west.
You need your ID and information to sign up and get one anyway.

The signature they have on record for me is from when I was 18. It’s hardly foolproof since I don’t even remember how I signed back then.

Two months out of a 6-year term isn’t that much. And the Senate hasn’t had any actual work to do because nothing from the House is worth passing.
I’m glad he took a few weeks to get himself good and now he can go back to work.
