So, if we're keeping track, you came out swinging with a pretty aggressive response to an industry professional who was explaining things in very calm and simple terms, and then when they rightly took you to task for the very basic errors you made, all of a sudden they're being a dick and the discussion isn't civil? Maybe you should try a civil response to begin with and maybe the conversation might head to sunnier pastures, friend?
You certainly aren't a power systems engineer, so why mention your qualifications at all? They aren't meaningful here.

US has a lot of private funding. Lots of heavy hitters, Amazon, Microsoft, General Electric, the entire military industrial complex, are all either running their own initiatives or providing funding in partnership with quantum technology research institutions.

Honestly hard to think of anything more misleading than this comment. Income disparity on a global scale, it turns out, is pretty complex. Some places have increased inequality, some haven't.
Interestingly, China and India's development have brought down global Gini, while the in-country inequality has increased. Brazil is about as wildly disparate in it's wealth as it ever has been, though it's gini coefficient has risen slightly.
Mexico is one of the few places that has actually managed to reduce their inequality in the past decades, yet it remains among the worst offenders.

Sadly, this was an informative response to a recalcitrant who is not interested in learning or listening.
