Per a tweet from local media both Central and Oakland are closed today and tomorrow and counselors will be on hand.

Just a guess. Cranberry is one of the hotter housing markets in the area and considered pretty upscale (at least to people who are into suburbs it does). Bridgeville is neither of those things.

Something else to consider - if you have a commute into town, coming in from the direction of Bridgeville would be significantly more painful than coming from the north.
