Another point is that Bob is likely violating his WFH agreement with TikTok. When I signed on to WFH, it came with the stipulation that I had to live within 50 miles of the local office. Not only would his WFH be revoked if they found out, he'd likely be terminated for violating his employment contract.

This is done exactly to keep people from taking a job in a HCL area like California, them moving to bumfuk nowhere North Dakota with that paycheck.

Many people don't realize that some mortgage processors, like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, were completely bought out and taken over by the US Government for the 2008 fiasco.

They were publicly traded companies, and still are some of the largest in the world. Part of the bailout deal was a hostile takeover, and that they send all profits to the US Treasury indefinitely. The entire company was basically gutted and replaced.

Not every high ranking rich dude got off scott free, but a lot of them did.

It's like those shirts made in Malaysia that stamp a picture of the person who 'made it' on the inside tag.

'Jodette helped mine this diamond to help pay for her parents chronically failing health, thank you so much for supporting her. All praise to DeBeers.'

That's if they get serious. They're well known for axing many projects way before their prime when they don't immediately print money. They're allergic to commitment.

The only reason Google Docs is probably still around is because B2B basically prints money hand over fist, and top execs love the thought of having a competitor to Office 365.
