You need to take the title to a notary. You give a bill of sale to someone. They never tranfer the title and are involved in a accident. It is your car and you may be liable. Always use a notary when selling any vehicle for your protection.

The only exception is when junking a car. Who ever takes it needs to sign the title and you do also. The title has a place for this purpose. Take a pictue for your records to protect yourself.

There are people that will buy a car and never transfer the title. Under the law you are the owner. I suggest having proof of the sale or using a notary for your protection.

Environmental and unions would make this cost prohibative as soon as it was proposed by anyone. The legal fees would be in the high 100s of millions. Then the unions would demand labor cost of 125 per hour or more. You have to add in all the perks with the wages. You are likely talking 5-7 million per mile at a minimum.

Local police will side with the code officer. He is one of them. I have other experiences with the ones near me. I went to court over plants and flowers. They thought my plants were weeds. In court, my receipts and pictures of the plants proved otherwise. Like I said, they are dicks.

They measure the length of my grass a few times each year and check other shit since then. I have video outside. I catch them hopping my fence a few times a year. They lose on those cases too.

That happpens a lot in Pa. The code officers are dicks. They interupt the law their own way. They do the same in every community near me. A friend has a fenced in yard. They went on people's porches to take pictures and try and fine him. The problem was they could not get shots of the plates or windshield.

His brother is a state trooper. He let his brother deal with the assholes. I know they left him alone afterward.

Bring your records. It will help you get your meds and services fast. In Pa. a lot of family doctors will write meds if you have the records to prove you take them. This will give you time to secure specialists in the field of health. My wife needed psych care. It took her 10-14 days to get to see a doctor, the counseling took about 3 weeks.

In cities, you will find a larger pool of providers. In rural areas, there are fewer but they tend to be less overburdened with a large number of clients. In either case, it takes about 2 weeks.

I suggest getting your provider to give you a 2-3 month supply of medications to be safe. In Pa, someone leaving for an extended period can get a 3-month supply. Plus having a script with refills is an option. I had meds refilled out of state while traveling. It does take a day or two but can be done.

I can see similarities between Pa and Cali in healthcare. Both states have a lot of universities with medical specialties. I live in the suburbs and doctors and other healthcare services have taken over strip malls or shopping centers. Some have taken over former grocery stores or bowling lanes.
