Emotions are slow and cruse and require a body .if you virtualize them - the ai might go insane from experiencing a century of emotions in a day

If America was a Christian nation then people should be proud to show Jesus around all the streets of their cities to show Him how His gospel of love and concern for the poor and sick was being lived out
As this is not the case, it's a sad indictment

Isn't it equally a delusion to reason that by restricting data (i.e. constraining and adding a lens or a sampling decision) that the patterns produced are true patterns and not merely the effect of sampling?

One psychological factor behind motivation is to have very specific goals, and goals that are tough bit not 'too hard'
In that respect: recording what you do allows you to set incrementally bigger goals next time around
I find if I don't record (exercise, weight, reps, sets) i get confused and don't know really which way to push
