it's not just an adapter but software as well, the car communicates with the charger and bills you automatically... can they set it up with other cars? maybe but I dont see why they would (unless governments start to require it)

The main thing they have is their charging network, which no other auto company has been able to replicate

everytime I think about buying something else I think about going on a trip somewhere and change my mind
