The irony is Liverpool fans that don’t like their current owners complain that they don’t “invest”. Which basically means they don’t just dump their own personal funds into the club and rely on developing it to grow the brand and increase revenues. Which is basically have any reasonable business should be run. They also, oh I don’t know won them a champions league and the Premier league title?
Anyone that thinks the Henry is a problem is basically want an oil money without admitting it.

Fucking love this. I’m not gonna argue that they are neutral, but they certainly aren’t compromised like club owners that are lining their pockets with blood money.

Are they done with renovations yet? I’m kind of waiting to take my daughter back for when they’re finished.

I think what was surprising was what is considered "poor" sleep health. Apparently, napping? My layman's guess it that people who nap usually needed more core sleep, so the real impairment comes from the lack of overall core sleep.

I think coastal communities are a special case. There were times we didn’t even really have a storm when I was living in Plymouth and we would have flooding in road closures.

Dude, you need to give up on this sub. This and the Boston sub Reddit are filled with reactionary, fearful individuals. Literally, the largest academic medical centers in the country are not requiring masks currently. This is not science or data driven. It’s all Zeitgeist bullshit.

“Not a mask in sight” doesn’t give the vibe of “it’s your prerogative”. It sounds like a judgement.

My dude, those are frankly normal things that happen in the winter. And while yes, of course they are more common this year than ever before, they are more common because we wore masks for two years. We either doff the masks now, get through this winter and go back to our historical norm, or we continue to wear masks and run into the same issues year after year.
I would also like to point out that you’ve conceded we are not talking about truly serious illnesses where people are getting sick and dying. Which was the reason that we essentially compelled everyone, whether via policy or stigma, to wear masks. (I fully supported those policies btw during covid)
If you don’t want to ruin your own holiday, wear a mask. Simple as that. But to try and tell everyone in society that they need to wear a mask because you and your family might get a cold or a stomach bug and not get together on Christmas day, honestly, that’s not a compelling reason.

COVID has largely disappeared as a significant health event for full vaccinated/boosted individuals. Go walk into literally any place anywhere and no one is masked. And most workplaces aren't wearing masks. Even hospitals like MGH allow employees to be unmasked in non-patient areas.
So idk why that should be a notable feature of this photo.

Htf am I being downvoted? I’m looking at my forecast right now and the temperature is literally going to rise overnight and hit a high of 55° tomorrow when the majority of the storm will have passed.
Oh no tomorrow night after the storm has ended it will get cold.

After the storm passes, yes. It will be like 40-60 when the storm is actually here. of course the rain will freeze after, but it's not even close to being a true winter storm.

They would need to be sustained as opposed to gusts. We’ll see, but imo this is a “we have some trees down” kind of storm. So maybe some power losses. But it’s not going to be that cold, so shouldn’t be that much of a problem.
Z0idberg_MD t1_j1aahe5 wrote
I don’t know maybe I’m just being dismissive, but a “it’s going to be warm and rain” storm isn’t that worrying.

The crazy thing is the quintessential oil money club, PSG, can’t even when the fucking champions league having three of the absolute best players in the world in their front line. If anything I would argue it leads to a prima donna model where players feel they can breeze through.
Every time PSG burns out I click my heels
