Yeah - I'm used to hearing the train here and there, but it sure seemed weird. I actually commented to my friends something along the lines of, "what the hell? Is there a car on the tracks or something?"

I wish it was just an empty car.

Relatively - just a few years, but it's been really chill while I've been here. Maybe it's not so much in different parts of town, but downtown is quiet most of the time.

Edit: do people think that Waterbury is dangerous or something? I've never had even one problem. Granted, I might look a little scary to some people myself, tall and scruffy.

I was hanging outside with a few buddies and heard the train's horn blaring for a very long time. I wish it wasn't because of something terrible like this. Ugh. I mean, stuff like this just doesn't happen in Waterbury.

I really hope this goes through this time. I just want to be able to eat mushrooms once or twice a year without worrying about getting arrested.

Waterbury has a fun very child-friendly parade. The kids go nuts for the fire trucks blasting their horns.

Wish I could think of an idea for a show, but the edible kicked in.

Every day, when I catch her just sitting there staring at me and judging me, I spend at LEAST a minute telling her it's ok - if you can talk, I won't tell anyone.

"I know you can talk. Just do it. I'll give you some catnip! Or, if you don't, maybe your food rations will be cut in half. Your choice, Boo."

As of yet, no luck.

Oh, how I hope to receive one to see if my cat will show any interest. Oh, how many sweet, worthless upvotes I'd get if I could actually get her to read it aloud.
