Thanks so much for this. I called the ranger today and she confirmed exactly this. I’m relieved that there’s hope for my trip!

Beautiful shots. I only hope I have some moments of clarity without fog and precipitation!

That would be a real bummer. Don’t know when I’ll get another chance. I’ll call the ranger station tomorrow. Thanks for the response.

It’s crazy to me how many people in this subreddit go absolutely gaga for this book. To me, it was perfectly fine, but utterly forgettable. Just a silly little story about a guy and a silly little spider creature. But every week someone posts about how it was a life-changing book.

Your point about the world not making sense resonates and is something I'm constantly saying to myself as I read, followed by, "Surely there will be an explanation for this affront to common sense." There's still plenty of time for there to be some great reveal at the end where all the professors are like "of course it was outrageous. We were testing you."

I'm not sure about that. I think there's a good chance they'll just pass it on to the consumer.

Single-use plastic bans should include plastic bottles. Basically governments worldwide should put the hurt on plastics manufacturers. Within 10 years the only plastics being produced should be for highly specialized applications, like computers, vehicles, and healthcare.

It might explain why people become addicted to news/social media that enrages them but not so much to feel-good content.
