I woke up early today to head over to my mom's house. Her cat Chica was on her last leg yesterday, so we were going to have her put down this morning. She passed about 4am. So while I'm glad she didn't have to suffer the fear of going to a vet, I am very sorry I didn't get to pet her one more time.

You should watch it again as an adult. I've seen it lord knows how many times now, and I have to say Emory is my favorite. All the characters are such caricatures of themselves, but he at least had some common sense (even if he was an ass)!

Cold! But worth it to get out of the house for a bit. I went to Shore Dog first to grab a quick bite. And I did have an umberella and jacket, but I still got wet, lol

I don't plan on staying dry, I plan on going for a walk in a few minutes in Byrd Park. I don't mind the rain because at least I can get out of the house for a bit!

My SO and I have a tradition of watching Rose Red while we work on dark stormy days like today, so I fully expect to see that on when I return home.

I'm at the doctor getting antibiotics this morning, so meh, but also will be good to get rid of this. I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year, and I've already gotten calls and texts messages with family drama that I know will be carried into dinner. Send help...

Catching up on sleep. Just spent 22 hours traveling back home and my body is NOT happy. But our cats are super excited to see us, so that part is really nice :)
