LinkedIn has been where I've gotten my last 4, maybe 5, jobs. All the recruiters are on there. Since it's patterned after a social media site it's a good communication channel for initial contact, and they can get a good overview of my skill set and location and job wants by checking out my profile.

They passed on me earlier in the pandemic and were still spamming me right up until the layoff announcements. I don't get why they bothered because I'm not going to waste the time to memorize hackerrank to pass their interview process so another round would end the same way.

For models that have an engine immobilizer on higher trims and use that same engine on lower trims the immobilizer is likely included in every engine built but just not activated on the lower trims. A software update can activate it.
