yes you'll arrive by garfield, check out pointz app for bike friendly (or friendlier at least) routes through pvd.

Post to r/riguns as well. Options are one of the many clubs, state range at great swamp(never been, don't know the deal), or mid state in coventry. start w hunter safety course put on by the gun clubs/dem. good intro to safety and you can make some friends/contacts there.
