A testimony to Western maintenance discipline. Other countries can't keep 10 year old planes in the sky.

Train derailments today, bridge collapses tomorrow. Not a huge fan of any president really, but at least Biden tried to do something about infrastructure. I drive over the Mississippi river every day and I can't believe the bridge still stands.

Holy shit that's pretty fascinating. I would assume the educated hackers/coders all left Russia when the conscription thing happened so they'll be back or set up shop in a refuge country.

I remember working in the oilfield in the US back in the early 90s. If you were seen sitting down you were fired. Must be in your feet all day, no matter what. When lunch time came it was more about resting your body than getting some calories. They'd call you "magnet ass" if you complained and wanted to sit.

I mean yea... The US isn't exactly the safest place in the world, at all. Trust me, I'd jump at the chance to be given refugee status to Europe or Ireland or something similar.
