There is also a lot of acid production during the phases where bacterial like organisms convert agricultural ammonia into nitrites, and then nitrates, especially if oxygenation of the waterway is low or temps high. The pH swing also kills fish rapidly

All protein isn't equal, as not all components of food are bioavailable, and protein is broken down into amino acids.

PsA is a special hell. I watched my strong as hell father barely be able to get out of bed for months after he first started showing symptoms. From felling trees and loaded tons of timber solo into a huge trailer to unable to roll over without help in a matter of weeks.
