A hospitalisation doesn't necessarily imply a near-fatal or fatal result; it could include just supplying supplementary oxygen.
here are the numbers from the UK government:
The number of vaccinations required to prevent one hospitalisation can go as high as 210,400 for the 30 to 39 not-at-risk age group.

Reply to Wet-food diet promotes the recovery from surgery of castration in adult young cats by napovarj
They should really rephrase the findings
Kibble impedes’s cats' abilities to recover from surgery.
Convincing owners to give their cats kibble is the biggest con job in the world of pet ownership. By the time it’s been heated to around 150° C and had all its nutrients removed it’s as healthy as cardboard. Not even considering the fact cat’s shouldn’t eat carbohydrates. Cats are obligate carnivores. They ONLY eat meat.

It takes around 70,000 MRNA vaccinations to be administered prevent one hospitalisation. They probably survived.

Reply to Global Inflation Update by Infamous_Sympathy_91
Ignoring that cpi data is fudged to make the gov look as good as possible, all this means is the rate of inflation is accelerating slower than it was last year, not that it’s stopping, or reversing the effects it’s had.

Reply to Would a corporation realistically release an AGI to the public? by Shiningc
Because realistically if you’re able to make an AGI then someone else will be able to too. If you don’t release it as a product, someone else will because there’s a gap in the market.
