There’s a link there for security; might be worth trying that because leaving something behind might mean that specific device could be uniquely trackable and you’d hope that detail would be interesting to apple

Older phones don’t have the variable refresh rate for display so AOD would eat the battery too much - same thing newer Apple Watches got to have their own AOD feature
