Yea I finished this last night. Each episode was generally entertaining and interesting, and Waltz is infinitely watchable, so I wouldn't call it bad, but I had a strong feeling the ending was going to be wildly unsatisfying and boy was I right on the money. Such a stupid ending. Not even bad, just...nothing. No real answers. No real horror. Definitely a C- show at best.

Suspension of disbelief*
If you suspend belief, you are not believing. If you suspend disbelief, you are now able to believe.

The French dispatch had no chance of ever being nominated for anything. Delusional.

I still can’t get over how good Andor was. After feelings of disgust after Rise of Skywalker and personally not enjoying Mandalorian, I was full on done w Star Wars. Had no intention of watching any of it. But the Reddit was enthusiasm was hard to avoid and I felt I had to at least try. Such a good show. Not just a good Star Wars show. Just a flat out good to show. No force. No Jedi. No sith. No lightsabers. Best star wars content since rogue one. Miraculous.

Experienced this recently with Nevil Shute's A Town Like Alice. It wasn't even the preface, asthe synopsis on the back of the book just matter-of-factly spoils one of the biggest surprises in the book. And this isn't like the first chapter or anything. The reveal happens close to halfway through the book. If it hadn't been spoiled, I would've been hugely affected by the reveal. Ridiculous.

That's truly terrible. Was a great, underwatched show when it originally aired, and now the reunion suffers the same fate. Guess I should probably let go of any hope for a S4. Oh well. I feel blessed we got six more episodes of this show at all.
