Their head of HR at Rapid Roberts, Stephen Makoski, tried to run for the school board himself but thank fuck he lost. ( EDIT: Apparently he won the race, as stated by another user. I'll leave my comment as it was though, to keep all the context.) I wouldn't be surprised if he's making the company more politically involved, whether it be for the money or political power. The reason I'm glad he lost the race is because he's a religious nut job that also gives a lecture against young people during the Rapid Roberts training class. Imagine what a Christian man who hates kids could do with the power of a school board, now realize that's happening all over the country and even the globe! Christian dominionism is becoming more wide spread in the United States and it's frightening to see. Whether or not the guy in the ad is part of that movement, I do not know. Just figured I would share what knowledge I have on this matter!

I'm glad to see a church finally recognized for what it is. Money hungry people willing to steal from those people that believe in something with all their heart. Religion is a poison and I'm glad to see Missouri folk are slowly starting to see that!

P.S. I'm well aware not EVERY person in any given church is evil and knows that they're lying and scamming. It only takes a few bad actors with power and money to control the religious. Look at all the TV evangelists for example.

Mediacom has had no issues for me over the last year. However, I switched to AT&T fiber a week ago and I'm loving it so far. It's $80 for me now compared to $100 with Mediacom (comparable speeds). A couple more perks of switching to AT&T are that upload speed is matched to download speed and the router provided has WiFi 6 on it! Increased upload speed is GREAT if you're a gaming couple that streams like my wife and I. I didn't start this comment intending to make a short story commercial.

I would look into CBD if I were you. It'll give you the calming side of the plant without the "high" part. CBD can be used at work too and it's safe, just make sure the label is accurate before using it in a potentially dangerous way (like driving for example).

Tesla has a proprietary socket on their charging ports for their cars and charging cords. Most car models use what I have on my car and it's not compatible with Tesla chargers. A super charger is a very convenient option for EV owners and Tesla decided to create an exclusive club, that's one of the reasons I don't support Tesla anymore.

There's 3 DC Fast locations actually, but all are east of Glenstone (to be pedantic, the one at Thompson Cadillac is technically west of Glenstone but it's also very far away from most of the town). I'm just looking for something a little closer to home. It feels like the EV infrastructure is basically non-existent in Springfield. I wish I could figure out how to get people to care because EV's are steadily taking over the car market and everyone is gonna wish we had the stuff sooner.

Yeah they charged us for replacing all the lightbulbs after we moved out. I know it's bogus because I installed LED lights all over the house and kept the bulbs that were there and put them back when we moved out. TLC did us dirty every chance they could.

In my experience, they're awful. I lived in scenic station near grand and scenic. My moped was stolen there and they did absolutely nothing to help me out. They hardly ever took care of landscaping and let a tree grow so low that every car entering from the east side would get scratched by the tree, that completely ruined the paint on top of our Honda Element. They also will not work with you to alter your lease agreement. Just avoid them if you can.

There's a free parking garage with at least 4 levels on Campbell and Olive. I charge my car at that free parking lot all the time and see plenty of spaces open there. There's plenty of parking lots all over the place too. Just because you have to walk from the parking to a business doesn't mean there's not plenty of parking. .
