Once they are readily available you should find fresh for sale at the farmers market. It’s a bit early in the season to be finding them around here just yet. Needs to warm up some. You can find them dried at the grocery stores.

Honestly.. Just show up and be yourself. The instructors and other students will make you feel welcome. It’s a relatively relaxed environment but they take the quality of their training seriously. Good people here that care about what they’re doing and it shows.

I’ve been training at Kokoro for 7 months or so. They have an open mat session on Saturday, but no “classes” on the weekend. They do offer various daily and evening class times throughout the week. Diverse gym culture w quality instructors. I’ve really enjoyed my time training there thus far. GL!
