This is one of the best things about my supervisor at work. She's kind of flaky but a good person and just does not give a shit about corporate politics. Several people should be fired just by attendance if they had their way but it's all various family issues so as long as production stays on target she keeps them off our back.

Such as, every developer MS has brought under their banner touting how great the experience has been? You can easily do some research yourself and find the results of their past acquisitions. Financial and logistical support to let teams make the games they've wanted to make but couldn't for one reason or another.

Used to in D1 but not anymore, fortunately. Thankfully Bungie got away from that bullshit realizing they needed a unified experience.

For real, MS aren't just buying a studio, they are buying franchises and IP. There is going to be a major restructuring and it will be interesting to see what they start to put out in the years following.

The original rules weren't made to be fun. It was to show how awful late stage capitalism would be, then taken from the creator and turned into a "fun" game.
