+1 for Costco. Big portion of stuff they sell is the best quality you can buy at a big box store.

I’m an HVAC guy, hvac guys push gas because they don’t understand electric. Get 1 or more Mitsubishi electric heat pump systems. They’re about as BIFL as it comes. Personally I have natural gas with a BIFL boiler system and I’m putting in 4 Mitsubishi heat pumps and keeping the gas as backup heat only.

100%, I guess when I say “professional” I mean, it’s an executive/management office worker laptop lol.

Interesting comparison given my career but nearly every mini-spilt comes with the refrigerant included, and you typically have to weigh in some extra depending how long the lines are.

Very cool concept. I would like to see some different graphics options, but for someone just looking for a professional use laptop, this looks like an interesting option. However to see a $2000+ price tag for worse specs than what you can get for under $1000, this is a hard sell for me.

I just want to say avoid “the rock” line of pans. I was gifted one when I moved out of my parents and with a year of minimal use (single guy) it cracked on the bottom along the seam and almost caused a grease fire while I was cooking bacon.

My mom still uses this since one from the same time. She took a bookkeeping class in 1986 then bought it. I seriously still don’t understand why she still uses it. Blows my mind.

Yeah I have a Wilkinson sword, thing cost like $20. Had it for 4 years, I’ve maybe changed the blade 5 times.

I like blaklader. My work provides company carhart and Dakota coats that fall apart that I have to wear, if I had to provide my own I’d wear my blacklader. I’ve had it 8 years and it looks new. But it’s not saying that much though because I don’t wear it daily to work anymore, I did for 3 years and that’s more than I can say for the other 2.

Ugh yeah I just finally bought a new French press 2 weeks ago, my glass one broke 3 months ago and I spent a few months buying coffee every morning until I finally got a new one.

I have an occidental 2” belt. I’ve had it 5 years and it’s the only one I wear every single day. Still looks new.
