I feel like every time the Catholic Church makes news because of something like this or because the bishop spewed more verbal diarrhea we should be highlighting churches who don't judge people and who make a real difference. Like the tiny churches I see providing outreach, help for the homeless, meals, etc. What is the Catholic Church with their so-called huge base in RI doing locally to help people?
