I've rewatched that a couple of times and didn't hate doing that, although that said it was a solid ten + years apart and I definitely didn't really understand it when I saw it wildly underage the first time haha

So I just saw the whale but I wouldn't hate seeing it again 😅 my issue with memento is that the whole premise is sort of ruined once you've seen it once or twice and it just didn't seem to have the same impact as when I first saw it.
