Ah, that certainly won't happen then, but they could call it "shitty place to have a drink" and I would still go every nice night in the summer. In fact, I hope they re-name it to that so people who don't know stay away.

I may be in the minority here, but I never really understood the hype about Latham House, everything was just so basic and bland on the few times I gave them a try. There are already plenty of restaurants in downtown that have similar menus with better execution, surprised they lasted as long as they did.

Ubers are going to be annoying from Brooklyn/lower Manhattan overnight for the next few years with the WB Holland Tunnel closure, probably best to take an Uber to WTC and use the RidePATH app to judge when to actually go to the station so you're not waiting on the platform for 30+ minutes.

Clear also ran that idiotic “give your friends the gift of Clear” promo over the holiday season where members could gift Clear access to their friends and family for 1 trip, it led to a bunch of inexperienced travelers bogging down the lines from Thanksgiving—New Years, I ended up just going through the normal Pre Check line to save time.

Lots of sushi places have lunch specials where you get 2 rolls (plenty of vegetarian options, you don't need to get fish) and soup or salad for ~12-$15, a little higher than $10, but still a good deal to mix things up from the usual sandwiches.

Unless you have very specific items you want to address with a trainer in that one session (i.e. form checks), I'd suggest skipping the free session altogether. They're just sales opportunities and you'll likely get a very hard sell on signing up for recurring sessions, both during the free session and afterwards (in email and whenever you'll see that trainer at the gym).

Grilled or fried? For grilled, O'Hara's actually has a really great version (it's on the menu as the deluxe burger, just select grilled chicken as the protein and add blue cheese and buffalo sauce). I haven't tried their chicken cutlet version so can't speak to the fried, but Left Bank has great fried chicken sandwiches in general and could probably hack a buffalo chicken sandwich for you.
