Reply to Annual PSA: Many of the "big" black-tie New Year's Eve parties are borderline scams. Consider supporting a neighborhood bar or restaurant instead. by flimsywicket
Unless the organizer at Willard has changed, that party felt like value for money when we went in 2019-2020. 6 or 7 different styles of music throughout the venue, decent enough buffet food on that option, plenty of decent drinks available with minimal lines as plenty of bars throughout the venue.

You are kidding right? The new development is far and away better than what was there before. The fish market still exists. One vendor left over a rental dispute.

Reply to bars with pool tables in Capitol Hill? by bigrogerenergy
It is not something that is common in DC.
Lola’s on barracks row (8th st) I think May have a table upstairs. But not really considered a pool hall
Rocket Bar as you listed would probably be closest to Cap Hill
Atomic Billiards way up in Cleveland Park
Bedrock Billiards near Admo are the ones that come to mind.

New rules? Pretty sure that’s been oracle policy since virtualization was even a thing. If the software is installed on the processor, they charge you.
