Just use the warranty and get a proper new unit. You might as well use it if you got it.

Maximizing voices, because movies have horrible sound mixing that results in dialogue being hard to hear even in good conditions. On an airplane with no sound cancellation, you're gonna need to dial down everything but the mids, with a focus on speech.

I think Framework would love it lol. They should straight up make a Steam Deck style motherboard for Framework laptops with built in GPU.

The HD600 is less comfortable, but sounds amazing. It is definitely better tuned and more technically capable, though it does need a decent amp to show it. I use mine with the Fiio BTR5, and that works great for me, especially on wireless mode.
For the comfort, it is a step back, with higher clamping force, though the headband is better designed compared to the HD599’s faux leather.

I have the HD600 for pure listening, but for general computer use and gaming, and even some casual music enjoyment... gotta be the comfy HD599. Such a great headphone, and for a low price when on sale.

That’s the power of measurement and standards. As long as Crin is consistent, his data is useful.

Heh, don’t much care of internet points, but I do hope he likes it! Apparently comfort isn’t that great, but the ANC is alright and the sound is good.

This one has pretty decent ANC and sound is alright. Pretty cheap for non-audiophile.
If you want overears, I got the Momentum 3 wireless and that's pretty good.

You can also go for the Momentum 4 instead.

I use a noise cancelling headphone if I am on a plane. The ANC really helps with silencing the plane's noise, which makes sleeping way easier.

Also, the more you take with you, the more you risk damage or loss, or even theft.
Just don't take the big and expensive stuff, use the more portable options.

I would just roll with the IEM. You're not going away that long, maybe travel lighter.

Games especially are made for a generalized audience and not catered towards hifi headphones and sound systems. They may not have even tested their sounds with these sort of devices.

Yeah, but could’ve been a few bucks more and still be great, ya know? I wish it was, because it deserved more, it is so good.
Also the CCA CRA is even cheaper and it has replaceable cables.
