This was made AFTER the West shunned the Soviets. Before that, Russia and the West were allies.

Poland supported Germany's invasion of Czechoslovakia and even took some Czech land for themselves after Germany invaded. Stalin offered Poland to allow Soviet troops into Poland in the event Germany invaded, as Hitler's foreign policy was obviously become more and more aggressive. The Poles flat out refused, even though Russia was the only real power that could come to Poland's aid if (and when) Germany invaded. Even Britain and France asked the Poles to allow Soviet troops in because they knew they couldn't do much if Germany invaded.
The Western allies screwed themselves because of their appeasement of Hitler. Stalin viewed the appeasement as the allies aligning with Germany to destroy Russia. Russia wasn't even invited to the Munich Agreement even though giving Hitler Czechoslovakia (Sudetenland) made it easier for Germany to invade Russia.
So after basically be shunned by their supposed "allies" Stalin did the next best thing and signed a non-aggression pact with Germany.

> if anyone knows what it's like to get fucked over, again and again and again it's Poland
If you're referring to WW2, the Poles, along with their Western allies, fucked themselves more than anything.

By the same logic, wouldn't they also have not known no kids were dead? For all they knew the shooter was holding the kids hostage and would have killed them all if they breached.

The sound of children screaming was removed from the video I posted when the shooter first entered the classroom.
Nothing in any of the sources you linked to mentioned anyone dying after the cops arrived.

Where are you getting there were kids "screaming and crying" while the cops stood around? They were either dead or playing dead. All the kids who called 911 from inside the classroom survived.
I can't find any evidence any injured kid bled out or could have been saved by breaching early.
Again, I'm not saying the cops didn't make mistakes but they shouldn't be blamed for all the deaths.

Listen to this video:

The shooter enters the classroom and unloaded almost non-stop. There is no way it took him 2.5 hours to kill 19 kids. He shoots almost non-stop, probably stopped to reload, before any cops arrived.
This is what doesn't make sense to me, why the cops are being blamed for all the deaths.

The shooter unloads on those kids the second he steps in. I'm not saying the cops didn't make mistakes but most of those kids were dead before any cops arrived. He is unloading almost non-stop.

Yes, I get all weren't dead but is it fair to blame the cops for all the deaths?

This makes no sense. 19 kids died. There is no way it took over 20 minutes for the shooter to kill 19 kids at point-blank range with an AR-15. I'm not implying the cops didn't make mistakes but the majority of kids had to die before the first cop stepped foot in the school.
> Schools arent prisons, or shouldnt have to be.
I'm not talking bars on the windows. Simple stuff like a armed security guard and locked doors should have been enough to slow the shooter down long enough so the cops didn't have to deal with a shooter inside a classroom.
